Neverwinter’s Underdark is available now, Astral Diamond economy is being examined

Now if it were UnderTALE you might have something.
As of today, Neverwinter players are going underground. Not in the sense that they’re becoming very obscure, but in the sense that the Underdark expansion is available for the game. The centerpiece is the story of this particular dark-delving adventure with Drizzt Do’Urden, but there’s also a new 10-player encounter, new skirmishes, and plenty of quests and quality-of-life improvements. You can take a gander at much of it in the feature trailer just below.

If you’re more concerned about the state of the game’s economy, you’ll be happy to know that the developers are also concerned with the state of Astral Diamonds. As it stands, the economies of the game’s PC version and Xbox versions are wildly different, but there’s also a distinct issue with the challenge involved in earning this currency. The current plans are to increase the amount of diamonds earned, increase daily refinement limits, and greatly decrease the price of upgrading companions; more changes will be made based on how these first changes affect the exchange rate and overall gameplay.
