Anyway, right here is the moment where Kurt decided to make friends: “The screenshot is just me going to say ‘Hi!’ to the local imp tribe. We got along swell right up until I massacred them all.”

I’ve been saving this Landmark screenshot from Whiteberry for a rainy day. Lo and behold, it is raining right now! At least in Landmark, it looks lush and inviting, especially if you have the spirit of an explorer. What did she find in this nook? She never did say!
A couple of weeks ago, I challenged the One Shots community to share pictures laden with nostalgic value. We have a few of those to pass on today, starting with Arcsine’s mobid tableau in World of Warcraft.
“This shot is from September 18, 2005. Ironforge was the Alliance city of choice back then, and I usually logged off at the auction house. Imagine my surprise when I logged on that day to find Ironforge full of bones and death. I thought some Horde players had raided the city, but it turned out to be a buggy debuff called Corrupted Blood from the Zul’Gurub instance. It was a DoT that spread to nearby players, and unintentionally NPCs and pets could catch it as well. So of course some griefers purposefully got their pets to spread the debuff that pretty much shut down the cities for several days.”
“Well sadly I’ve lost many of my old screenshots,” Rozyn complained. “You can only build so many PCs before you lose something. Here’s a pretty significant time in my MMO career — the day my first MMO (Vanguard) was shut down. Taking one last flight over Khal. By the way, newer games: That’s what an open world looks like.”
