It was an oddly quiet week for crowdfunded MMOs, probably owing to the short holiday week prior, but the news we did get was golden, as Dual Universe launched its second alpha, Albion Online dropped its massive Percival update, Elite Dangerous teased all its content for the back half of 2019, and we checked in with the crowdfunded City of Heroes Homecoming servers, now just past their third donation round. RAW’s Kickstarter is down to its last week too, having pulled in double its $78,900 ask so far.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last week, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed.
