The October release approaches swiftly for EVE Online, with the update scheduled for October 8th (in the wee hours of the morning for most players in the US). The patch notes are already available, of course, so fans can pick through the precise changes now. Aside from general improvements to the game’s UI and to the new player experience, the new Mimesis implant set will be introduced alongside improved contextual menus for cynosural fields.
For those of you less concerned with the immediate future and more interested in the not-so-distant past, the developers have also released September’s economic report, tracking the game’s various economic activities across the active player sphere. September was definitely one of the quiet periods for the game, with finished products diving in a continued downward slope since June, but we’ll leave the in-depth analysis of these trends to more devoted economic minds; the data is all right there for those who want it.
The October Release brings the new Mimesis implant set, along with improved contextual menus for cynosural fields and a whole host of New Player Experience and User Interface improvements.
