I love me a good in-game marketplace. It always makes me think of commerce, of adventure, and of clashing worlds. Too bad we’re usually sprinting through them in MMOs at 35 mph, eh?
So thank goodness that reader Jayle decided to slow down and take this picture from Black Desert: “I took this shot during the first beta. Just thought it’d be of interest, I haven’t seen many shots of Calpheon. Black Desert really has captured that working market city feel.”
Come with me, little piggies. Let us go to market and procure some roast beef.
Reader Dajhryne had an unusual encounter in Age of Conan talking to an insane old man in Kara Korum. Fortunately, Dajhryne was all over that print screen button to capture the weirdness of the moment:
“Disguises are one of my favorite minor ‘fluff’ features in Elder Scrolls Online,” sent in reader JMadFour. “In this screenshot, I am hanging out with some Red Rook Bandits waiting for them to finally finish cooking. I am the Khajit in the middle. If I wear the Red Rook disguise in this specific location in Glenumbra, the Bandits turn neutral and I can walk among them freely (as long as I avoid the Wolves, who see through the disguise).”
Rabbit, meet chipmunk. Chipmunk, meet rabbit. This is totally normal, at least for The Secret World.
Reader Josh explains: “So I’ve always loved TSW’s Rabbit Killer in Tokyo and once I got the killer chipmunk outfit from The Park and found out the head is a separate piece of clothing I thought to myself ‘this could produce a wonderful set of screenshots.'”
I always enjoy seeing players enjoy the heck out of their mounts, which is why I chose the following screenshot for our It Came from the Comments! winner this week.
“I’ve actually started playing WildStar again,” JonBuck wrote. “Having fun now that I actually see people in the game. Some nice changes, like being able to have a mount from level 3 and no sprint meter. Woot! That was annoying as hell. Here’s a new char riding a dinosaur-thing.”
For our screenshot challenge this week, I want you to send in or post a picture that’s dominated by your favorite color. What’s that color and what attracted you to this vista?
