One Shots: Dawntrail, ho!

Memories of a brutal 48-hour downtime for Final Fantasy XIV are fading into distant memory as the playerbase basks on the shores of Dawntrail. And chief among them is Vincent, who kept a close eye out for the launch and wished everyone “happy adventures” in the new expansion.

Cheers, y’all! May your limit breaks be many and your moogles under control.

Sean sent in this picture from what I think is one of the Fallout games: “I busted my trusty ProSnap Deluxe camera during a boss battle, managed to take a sharp action shot. The guy in power armor in front of me surely didn’t mind.”

Seems like an unsafe display of electricity, but robots are never bound by OSHA guidelines.

“I’m back in EverQuest 2 again,” said Minimalistway. “It’s hard not to choose Fae, look at their beautiful wings! The music in Queen’s Colony is nostalgic.”

That reminds me, I’m almost out of fae wing snacking chips. Those things are addictive, I tell you. I think it’s the natural seasoning.

Utakata is coming at you fast and furious from a superhero MMO. Will you be pulverized the sheer blunt force trauma, roasted by the ensuing eye lasers, or disintegrated by a sonic boom so mighty that it will rend atom from atom?

I’ll wind things down with this shot of my new Death Knight at the start of her adventures through Pandaria Remix in World of Warcraft. The wings are a toy that I had sitting around in my collections tab, so I thought I’d play with that a bit, while the outfit is from June’s trading post.

Let’s keep summer going in fashion and style! And in fact, if you’d like to share your best transmog, cosmetic outfit, or fashion statement in the comments, why not trot them out in the comments?

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
