World of Warcraft may not be in the Dragonflight era any longer, but The War Within’s first big content update had a lot of love for dragons even so, as reader William attests.
“Certainly a recent treat for me has been the release of WoW’s newest patch and new classes for the Dracthyr,” William posted. “It feels good to finally use a sword or dagger instead of casting with it, even if it’s not the Dracthyr Death Knight I was hoping for.”
Is it me, or is there something faintly ominous about seeing Utakata standing in front of a “zen core engine” in Blade and Soul with that look of innocence? You just know that pure hell is going to be unleashed in about three seconds with a follow-up apology of, “I didn’t mean to touch it! I’m sorry!”
“I’m back to playing World of Warcraft,” said Little Bugbear. “For some reason all my screenshots were blue themed. This one is in the Azure Span.”
Sure, glowy trees look pretty and ethereal and all that, but they’re a bloody nuisance when you’re trying to sleep at night and there’s a 500W light right outside your window.
Minimalistway is being all sorts of hospitable in Lord of the Rings Online: “This Hobbit does not want any visitors!”
I’m just saying, maybe avoid this house for trick-or-treating, unless you want your soul sucked out your nose and your corpse reanimated for basic household cleaning projects.
I’ll wrap things up with another LOTRO pic, this one of my River Hobbit Captain on the Angmar server. She’d just hit level 50 and was in the thick of Eregion. Did you know that there are Half-Orcs there? Oh boy, do I know that fact very well by now.
For an optional screenshot challenge this week, let’s see a picture of your character eating or drinking something tasty in game! Or just post whatever the heck you want, I’m not your dad. Yet. The adoption papers are still in transit.
