As cool and iconic that Star Trek ships look, I’ve always thought they also came across as fragile, with pieces sticking out here and there. Plenty of opportunity for some star god to play around with the Enterprise and accidentally snap off a nacelle or let the ship tip over when he has to go to the bathroom.
Today’s headlining pic is from reader Xyggy, who sends this one in courtesy of Star Trek Online. “Here is my pic of my TOS Constitution-class starship boldly going through the TOS timeline second mission. It’s been a real nostalgia blast being thrust into the TOS vibe and this screenshot exemplifies that retro-Trek feeling.”
May the Force be with you, Xyggy.
“This screenshot comes from Landmark, which is a game I’m enjoying a lot more than I ever expected to,” said Tyler. “We’ve got a shot of the moon as seen through the trees in a snowy forest. Man, this game is gorgeous. So much of my time in Landmark has just been wandering and gawking at the sights.”
MilitiaMasterV took some time to share his housing skills: “I loved my RIFT dimension… too bad I never really finished and I went way overboard on size. Looked like a giant’s place. IÂ got a little over-zealous trying to build a fireplace on each floor working with what we had and trying to get the top floor windows aligned perfectly so no avatars could slip through/fall out. So I got bored/annoyed before I finished up the ‘great hall’ upstairs and the balcony retreat that would’ve been up and out the side of the roof.
“I ended up quitting RIFT after that, and only came back like one time to check on my characters/and unloaded another pile of dimension objects that I was handed into there…so outside is a massive mess.”
Remember kids: There’s never any shame in showing off how fantastic your avatar is.
Vexia is looking like a million bucks in Final Fantasy XIV: “AÂ selfie with my level 50 Monk gear in FFXIV. I think it turned out particularly nice and share-worthy due to the attractive lighting in The Quicksand, the finest tavern in the city of Ul’dah.”
Feeling hungry? You’re going to in about three seconds, folks.
“Here is a makeshift kitchen, an outdoor one, in front of an inn you can find in Blade and Soul,” Qarran explains. “Being a vegan doesn’t really work here does it? Oh well, who cares. BACON!”
Who wants a screenshot challenge? The eyes have it! Pictures of eyes, that is. Let’s see some close-ups, reflections, alien critters with eyeballs the size of a basketball, all sorts of eye-related pics. If we look closely enough, will we see right into a digital soul?
