Just because you’re homebound doesn’t mean you can’t stretch your legs in virtual worlds and enjoy your favorite Easter activities! We’ve got a roundup here of plenty of springtime events going on in MMOs this weekend.
Let’s start with Warframe, which is selling some Easter cosmetics (including a pastel palette for just one credit) and doling out free seven-day resource and drop chance boosters for Twitch Prime members. Likewise, Elite Dangerous is holding an Easter-themed sale with a lot of cosmetic options.
Coral the bunny (aww) needs your help in ArcheAge, where players can find her friends and hand out eggs on her behalf. Lazy bunny. At least you can get an Easter basket for your troubles! Over in RIFT, players can test out some of the new world bosses today, which is a tiny morsel of a treat for starving players.
The killer bunny and other springtime rites made their return in Dark Age of Camelot. Beware — you might soil your armor engaging in this event! And Patch 1.2.1 is making waves in Dauntless with its light-hearted activities: “Springtide is here, and the Shattered Isles are filled with pufflehops! Collect eggs and protect our furry friends in a new kind of hunt.”
Noblegarden is coming back to World of Warcraft from April 13th through the 19th. “During Noblegarden, the towns of Azeroth and their immediate environs are liberally sprinkled with Noblegarden eggs for players to collect in a ravenous frenzy — er, in the spirit of sharing. These eggs contain treats fit for commoners and kings alike!”
And Hackmud, that text-based MMO in which players get to be the amazing hackers they always thought they would grow up to be, is holding a community-created springtime event involving a dreaming AI.
Thanks, Sophiskiai!
