One Shots: Impossible landscapes would like to have a word with you

While the seemingly impossible landscapes of MMORPG worlds make for great visuals — such as in our headlining pic — I can’t help but think that they’re a nightmare for urban planners and casual tourists who get lost driving their station wagon around. But hey, you adventurer, go hop to the top of this shaky precipice and get a good look-see.

Katriana shared this from Guild Wars 2: “The Brand is deadly and highly annoying in many ways but also kind of beautiful.”

“When it comes to botting in MMOs, the key word is ‘volume’ – in this case, using teeny-tiny Lalafels as bots in order to increase the ‘bot-to-available-server-space’ congestion issues,” said Scott. “These little vermin were spotted by my idle camera while I took a quick bio break in Limsa Lominsa in FFXIV. And, yes, they are using a hack to exist UNDER the actual geometry of the city.”

When you get into a staring contest with Utakata in Blade and Soul, you’re going to lose. And then you’ll probably have your brain imploded by the clear telekinetic powers that this giant cranium holds.

Everyone say hello to Bryan’s newest party alt, a happy-go-lucky figure with a penchant for Christmas festivities, apple picking, and corpse-raising!

“I started playing Elder Scrolls Online again and rolled up a new Necromancer alt named Ner’zhul,” said Bryan.

Vincent’s so cool that you couldn’t even handle to see the front of this character. No, little one, you must be content to view the backside of its glory only!

With all sort of recent new releases and holiday events springing up, there’s plenty of fertile ground for future one shots! Let’s see your favorite recent MMO pictures and stories in the comments.

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
