New Games and Testing
- Escape from Tarkov: Economy fans might be interested to hear that this game promises to have “crazy deep trading.”
- Chaos Chronicle: Nexon’s newest mobile game is out for iOS and Android, with a fast-paced combo system that should leave you tapping into the night.
- Chronoblade: This coop multiplayer action title is getting ready to release in North America… soonish? NWay is handling operations in the states.
- The Black Death: This week’s patch was all about squashing bugs with a vengeance (but why not simply give them the plague?).
- Bless Online: Get an update on all of the happenings with this game and its company following Aeria’s merger with Gamigo.
Patches
- Final Fantasy XI: The game’s August patch addresses several small issues and allows for an expanded and more responsive chocobo riding system.
- Lineage II: The Helios, Lord of Bifrost update has gone live in Europe, bringing with it improvements to character leveling and the mentoring system.
- Royal Quest: The Age of Antiquity patch is here with revamped trials and daily login rewards! [Thanks Austin for the tip!]
- Uncharted Waters Online: The Barca Solar update introduces ancient galley ships and transmutation alchemy.

- Dark Age of Camelot: DAoC’s Midsummer Event is back in full swing through August 15th!

- E-sports: An Australian senator is pushing for a bill in the country to declare online e-sports games as “gambling,” saying that they groom kids to spend lots of money. Won’t someone please think of the children? [Thanks Vagabond Sam!]
- Dragon’s Dogma Online: To help you catch up on the game, Steparu has compiled several videos to show off the new storyline as well as the Alchemist class in action.
