Why not turn your looter shooter into a fancy feast? Because nothing about gaming has to make sense any more, Bungie collaborated with Victoria Rosenthral to make Destiny: The Official Cookbook. Coming this August, the cookbook contains a bunch of make-them-yourself recipes that somehow tie into the Destiny universe.

According to the description, “Eva Levante has traveled around the world after the events of the Red War, gathering a variety of recipes after crossing paths with many Guardians along the way and learning from their adventures. Craft, mouthwatering food from her diverse list of recipes inspired by the game’s unique world, plus step-by-step instructions and full-color photos, help guide and inspire fans to go on their own culinary adventure through the solar system.”

Official cookbooks for popular games isn’t anything new, of course. World of Warcraft has one, as does Elder Scrolls Online. Oh yeah, and there’s a Fallout cookbook, an Overwatch cookbook, and a Hearthstone cookbook as well. Has any of our readers ever purchased and used these? If so, did you survive the experience?
