One Shots: All the awesome you can handle

One day when I grow up, I hope to be half as amazing and down-to-earth cool as most of our One Shots community here. Each poster brings the awesome, week in and week out, and my eyeballs cannot stand it.

For example, Rafael can’t seem to share a Blade and Soul screenshot that doesn’t look as though it should be made into a poster for a blockbuster anime film. You know you’re truly all that if you can strike a pose while a boss monster lurks patiently in the background!

JonBuck will be caught up in FFXIV by 2021, it seems: “The new character I created to play through Heavensward is… through Heavensward. This is a screenshot from near the end of that storyline.”

SPOILERS: There will be the backs of people in it. Also, plants.

“For me, the most awesome thing in an MMO is usually the world,” said Michael18. “Especially in the ‘if you can see it, you can go there’ kind of world. Landmark was a great example. And it had even a ‘if you can see it, you can build your house there’ world!”

Real estate usually appreciates in value — unless the company that single-handedly controls the fate of your world decides to turn the lights off, that is.

Hikari is in a whole new world with shining, shimmering splendor. Now that that’s in your head, here’s her report: “Speaking of mounts, been playing a lot of Neverwinter since the release of the Gith. I got the flying carpet last night. Which of course means I needed a new outfit for it. The blue wasn’t working.”

“In all MMOs, seasoned players have realized that transmog/glamour/outfits are the true end-game,” posted Scott.

Welcome home, Scott. This is where you belong.

I’m sure I’m not the only one playing WoW Classic this week and taking a ridiculous number of screenshots of a landscape that has existed for a decade and a half now. For this week’s screenshot challenge, share your favorite biome and tell us why you love that the best!

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
