With WoW Classic’s Wrath expansion officially out, plenty of veterans of the Northrend Wars of ’08 returned for another tour of duty. Among these is the Ancient Gaming Noob, who joined likeminded souls in a return to Arthas’ backyard.

“During that time there was a question about what the DK brings to the group. The pally gets a lot of buffs and healing as a tank. The DK, with the right spec, gets a lot of its own powerful self-heals. New classes are always OP. If they weren’t we wouldn’t all play them. But he doesn’t get auras or other party buffs.”

MMO Folklorist took a look at the closed alpha of the Clone Wars Adventures emulator: “There isn’t anything like quests or open-world combat yet, but if what you’re looking for is a Clone Wars sandbox then there’s plenty to offer here even in this very early stage of the game’s resurrection. Better still, everything presently in the game looks very pretty and is more or less bug-free.”

Roleplay Rescue has a simple message for all of us, that names matter: “Why seek to name with meaning? Because the whole point (at least for me) of exploring character is to infuse the imagined person with meaning. The stories that arise from play are enriched by our characterisation and I find that it’s far easier and more rewarding to build a character around a meaningful name.”

FibroJedi offered up a guide to LOTRO’s Beorning class: “It has great DPS, the heavy armour provides your defence and the self-healing is strong. So you are a heavy armour DPS, and it feels sturdy enough for solo content.”

Heartless Gamer has a few suggestions for New World’s trading post: “The first suggestion is adding a couple more filters to the recently added filter page. Filtering by perks, gear score, and attributes were all great adds but there is still a lot of hovering or sorting required to find exactly what is needed.”

24 Hours In… looked back at City of Heroes’ Hollows zone: “Of all the missions in the Hollows the most famous has to be Frostfire. This is a classic of the early game, a mission that can be solo’d but is advisable to do with a group. Over the years I’ve tackled it both ways and it’s always been a good time.”

Inventory Full is on board with EverQuest II’s newest expansion: “Other than that, everything looks just peachy. All the usual fun and games of an EQII expansion, present and correct. I’ll be pre-ordering just as soon as I finish writing this post. I’m even tempted to go for the Collector’s Edition, which would be a first.”
