It’s Christmas in summertime once again, otherwise known to gamers as the Steam Summer Sale, and we’re happy to report that there are some pretty tasty bargains on offer for fans of MMORPG, MMO, and multiplayer genres. So that means it’s time for us to put together a little bit of a roundup:
- We’ll begin with Guild Wars 2, which is offering discounts of up to 75% on expansions for the MMORPG, both in individual purchases and bundle packs, just in case you’ve been waiting for the right moment to go whole hog.
- Neverwinter’s sales are understandably couched within the cash shop with a 20% discount on strongholds, guild marks, and bags in honor of the Steam sale.
- Star Trek Online is offering some similar markdowns on certain bundles in the cash shop, as well as running a bonus earnings event for R&D and Duty Officer missions.
- In terms of full-on game purchases, the Steam store itself shows off discounts for buying up Bellwright, Elder Scrolls Online, Black Desert, the Lightfall and Witch Queen expansions of Destiny 2, New World, and Conan Exiles, just to name a few.
