The Daily Grind: Which MMO offers the best console or mobile experience as of 2022?

I have noted before that while I have two consoles and love to game on my phone, I’m probably always going to be a PC girl at heart, so I seldom feel super confident about giving formal awards to games in those categories. So obviously, that means you folks should do it.

Last year, we featured two games for this topic, Albion Online and RuneScape, both of which went all-out on mobile. But I know that games like DC Universe Online, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online, and Black Desert offer pretty solid experiences on console. Maybe the core audiences for core MMOs are still on PC, but we have so many options for devices now. (Granted, one fewer option now with the loss of Stadia, but that’s another story altogether.)

You tell me: Which MMO offers the best console or mobile experience – the best experience for any MMORPG on a device that isn’t the tried and true PC – as of 2022?

At the turn of every calendar year, the MassivelyOP team assembles a traditional feast of annual content for your table.
