If MMORPGs, anime, and children’s cartoons have taught me anything — and really, it’s where I get most of my learning these days — it’s that we’re sitting on a veritable arsenal of power with our nation’s middle school kids. Each one is clearly capable of summoning the elements, piloting mechs, and using chi to slice through skyscrapers. Why aren’t we deploying them into combat zones?
At the vanguard of our attack we could put Utakata, who demonstrates this awesome potential in Blade and Soul: “From the pigtail’d archives is something small, pink and made of cloth. You get the picture!”
Next up is this breathtaking shot from Katriana in Guild Wars 2, who says, “Here’s a dark and quiet little chapel tucked away in the upper reaches of Arborstone.”
You know, versus the yodeling echoey chapels they have one county over. Those things’ll give you a migraine.
And then there’s Minimalistway freaking us all out with the following picture from FFXIV. WARNING: If you have sensitive children, please remove them from the room before scrolling down any further. You don’t need to handle the bedwetting that will follow.
