The Daily Grind: Which MMO offering is filling your summer hours?

We’re only now in the middle of July, but so far it feels as though summer 2019 has been a non-stop rollercoaster of great MMO patches, expansions, and events. The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr and Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers both enjoyed strong releases and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite came onto the scene rather abruptly.

Then there are content patches from World of Warcraft, Path of Exile, Lord of the Rings Online, and Black Desert. Plenty of summer and anniversary events, too. Plus, there are betas to be had, such as WoW Classic and Astellia, and that’s been sucking up some gaming time in certain quarters. I’m sure I’m missing a lot here, but you get the drift.

So what’s been captivating you? What has you really excited this summer? Me, I feel like a kid in a candy store with all of the goodies on display. But I’d love to hear about you.

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
