Yup, Warframe is definitely my go-to when I want to zone out and shut off my brain…I shut off my brain a lot :(
Also; Justin should’ve learned from the Fortnite guys that a proper apology only takes 11 seconds! Seriously though sorry for your loss of power, I personally still appreciate how you folks always try to get in a podcast every single week~

Why would anyone think you have an agenda against ArenaNet?

-Maybe because every time GW2 had been mentioned for a period of about 3 months, Bree ranted about cosmetic mount boxes?-

Oh…that. :P

That makes zero sense (even if it were true). GW and GW2 are among my favorite MMOs and I’ve been writing about them and praising what they do right, as well as praising what ArenaNet does right, for more years than I’d like to count. I also voted for Path of Fire for expansion of the year (it won) and praised it highly too. If I have an “agenda” against every company that does something I’ve loudly criticized (i.e., doing my job), I’d have an “agenda” against literally everything.

More to the point, I wrote an entire piece about the mount lockboxes pointing out they’re not even the worst lockboxes in existence.

It’s a longstanding joke to us because we’re just as likely to be accused of favoritism (because three of our writers now work there) as accused of having an agenda. Both are absurd.

To be clear, I am not saying you have an agenda against ArenaNet (or any other game company). I know you have spoken highly of them and their games before.

I am just poking fun at how the mount boxes seemed to be a particular thorn in your paw for a while. :)

happy to listen to you guys, i missed you last week, i play WoW and do mindless leveling while i listen to the podcast, solid hour of entertainment, thank you very much :-)

As for zoning out in MMOs, lately i started playing Maplestory (the old one) and it is perfect game for this kind of thing, if you like grinding mobs to level, it have flashy effects, crazy numbers for damage and a lot of loot, and you play it mostly on keyboard, i don’t like grind but in Maplestory? i find it fun activity, i can’t explain it.

“…breaks the internet” is on the fast track of winning the title of Most Overused Term of 2018.
