If I were an MMO character, I’d be completely paranoid that at any point in my life, I could be photographed by an invisible entity and posted for the entire world to see. Maybe that’s why everyone constantly does heroics; they’re terrified of being caught in the act doing mundane things like going to the bathroom or shucking peas.
“Vindictus can really be great-looking game, and the action combat is tight and fun, especially with friends,” testifies Alexander. “Here’s a shot of my blade and magic character Elalora finishing off a boss. Gotta love that pose!”
You guys were awesome stepping up to send in more screenshots lately, so thank you for that. Next up is reader Jason’s look at a Guild Wars 2 town during twilight (I presume):Â “This is my Charr Warrior Steamshovel during a vista panoramic. Can you find him? Hint he is on a roof.”
I’ve been staring at this picture for hours now, no dice. What say you?
Gotta love that Star Wars: The Old Republic architecture. It’s as gorgeous to behold as it is impractical to build. How do those planet-wide cities work again? Where does all of that sewage go?
“The most difficult part of role-playing in Alderaan is to keep the obvious spoiler about the planet’s destiny to myself,” submitted reader Brazokie. “Pretty place though, not that I’d invest in land there or anything…”
I really love the perspective of this next picture, shot through a chain-link fence. Sometimes taking screenshots through an in-game filter or object can provide a unique look to a scene.
Reader Mathias sent this one in: “Tokyo was hit hard during the story of The Secret World, but the skyline doesn’t reflect the amount of damage.”
Sometimes you see a screenshot and you have to purse your lips, arch your eyebrows, and say in falsetto, “Well isn’t that special!”
Our It Came from the Comments! winner this week hits that mark.
“I have an entry for the ‘party like it’s 1999’ file,” reader Camelotcrusade posted. “Here I am in EverQuest II as the piano man while midget go-go dancers work the crowd.”
The other day I was looking in first-person perspective at a WildStar Freebot and saw that his chassis reflected the entire city in front of him. That gave me an idea for our next screenshot challenge: reflections. See what you can dig up and/or take!
