I forget which podcast it was from for relevance, but this lack of an oxford comma just cost a company several million.

For some reason I think I pounce it Ag-La-Non.

As someone who beta tested UO (shows my age), I never had to pay to test it. It did help that I was able to borrow the install CD from my friend. I have never been a fan of the pay-to-test our game mentality.

Lady Doritos sounds like sexual innuendo.

For GW2 class suggestions, I’d add in Necromancer, specifically minionmancer as you can get some easy tankiness out of that.

Hmm, I could really go for some Doritos…

Remember the EQ /pizza command? Good times…

You all should add the fact that Larry finally got round to adding in Twitch emotes to your ending blurb, they are pretty darn spiffy too. I now sub to Massively twitch for the emotes and just happen to get a great streamer in MJ as a bonus ;-)

So I did sub to Star Citizen, but that was more for the monthly newsletters which is like a well published magazine that has a bunch of great info, graphics. But really, I haven’t even looked at that in a while ..

Just to clarify Justin Eberron is Eberron and Forgotton Realms is Forgotton Realms they are not set in the same universe. Completely different settings.
The fact they have put the two together in DDO is kinda silly not because its undoable (thats what the planar realms are for or spelljamming dependant upon which you prefer) but because they did it simply to cherry pick things they like from one setting to another, which is the meh’ist of reasons.

Sorry you guys kinda have to avoid talking about He-Who-Warlords-Over-Internet in a negative manner, I wouldn’t wanna be sent to the corn fields either.

Goofy Rant
Justin really touched on my own issue with mmos; time. I just haaaaaaate having to tell my group, “Sorry, please give me a bit, I gotta irl”. It’s also why I don’t like Sub-based games in general since, other than being a broke a$$, I feel like anytime I’m not playing I’m wasting valuable *literally* time. And with Sub-based games I feel like I need to do ALL my dailies and weeklies before I can tackle advancing the story in order to actually continue to the next expansion’s content *yup, got a lvl 70 WHM in FFXIV but haven’t reached Stormblood yet! Before I look at npc’s nodding for a couple of minutes I gotta do my daily rep grinds, bounties and dungeon runs or ELSE I’m wasting money…*
Feeling like I HAVE TO play makes me miserable and not wanna play at all. It’s silly for me to get in a foul mood in FFXIV within minutes of logging in just because I feel like I have to do things before doing what I want to do. At this point it’s no longer a game, so why should I be approaching it as an enjoyable activity when it clearly isn’t being one?

Obligatory Warframe Mention
Thank goodness for Warframe and the ability to Pause when you’re in Solo mode. My dogs thank it too.

I also have the same problem with subscription based games. I don’t want to feel like I have to play or that if I’m not playing I’m wasting time and/or money.

BnS gets a mention. :)

Yup, slow going on the BnS PR front. But they are trying a good bit more this year as opposed to last year. And there are good things going on in the game. Let’s hope it continues.

Because that is the thing about f2p games in general, they are like a box of moving chocolates. Never know when your fave flavor will suddenly require a credit card.
