New Games and Testing
- Prosperous Universe: The team moves into a new “office” and puts the finishing touches on this MMO’s website.
- Anthem: BioWare announced that Sarah Schachner (Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed) will be handling the composing duties for this upcoming multiplayer game. Give a listen to one of the tracks here:
Patches
- EverQuest II: The Fallen Gate progression server just unlocked The Shadow Odyssey expansion. Nice.
- Wurm Online: There was a small patch on August 22nd that lowered memory usage and fixed a few issues.
- SMITE: Engage with a classic joust in this MOBA’s latest console update!
- Elder Scrolls Online: The Wolfhunter DLC that recently came out on PC will finally arrive on consoles August 28th.
- H1Z1: Is this aiming glitch a good or bad thing? While you figure that out, partake of this new PS4 arcade mode!
- War of Rights: A new Harper’s Ferry skirmish area and player suppression states came with Update 119.
Odds and Ends
- Dark Age of Camelot: Dive into the latest grab bag and read up on stuff like skill power costs!
- Valve: Whoops, the company accidentally leaked its Steam.TV broadcasting network! Guess the cat’s out of the bag now.
- Elder Scrolls Online: Give Summerset’s soundtrack a listen today on Spotify. What do you think?
- DayZ: This survival shooter is heading to Xbox One on August 29th. Wonder if anyone still plays this game.
- Monster Hunter World: Capcom has to be pretty pleased with itself now that this game has surpassed 10 million units sold.
- Conan Exiles: The team talked about what it’s developing for this survival sandbox, released the game in Japan as Conan Outcasts, and rolled out a small Xbox One patch.
