Interplanetary survival-crafting game Boundless, formerly known as Oort Online, has been in Early Access for quite some time, but today it celebrates its official launch on Steam as part of Square Enix’s indie publishing project. In developer Wonderstruck’s take on the popular voxel-building genre, players can explore countless planets, claim territory for their own, harvest resources, craft tools and weapons, build cities, hunt fearsome foes, and more, all in a massive universe inhabited by players from across the globe.
To celebrate the game’s launch, the devs have released a new trailer that previews what players will find in the world of Boundless. The video explores some of the varied planets and biomes that players will encounter and highlights some truly impressive architectural feats, and it also provides a glimpse at the game’s combat and trading systems.
