I wouldn’t mind hearing more about Bree’s escapades in the Sims. I just enjoy hearing what you two are up to gaming-wise, MMO or not.

So far it’s about as exciting as my adventures in SWGL. Just replace spreadsheets with shuffling mods around. I’m really terrible at having fun lol. :D

Yep..that was the tenor of the question about developer health. We don’t want to be fans whose demands are causing people to die! And if the industry in general contributes to poor health, we should want to advocate for better working conditions for everyone. Thanks for reading the question.

It was a great question! I’m glad we actually interpreted it right; I felt like I’ve seen your writing so much in our comments that I had an inkling what you were really getting at. :D

It’s a good question honestly. I tend to think that the sedentary nature of working at a desk for 8 to 14 hours a day five to seven days a week is problematic.

It’s one of the things I try to be aware of as a gamer, that I need to get up and move around and do some physical activity. It’s just not online gaming and the online gaming industry either. I’ve noted the same thing with tabletop gaming as well with a lot of developers passing on in their 40s to 50s.

Fun fact, that parody ad was a parody ad of an anti-IBM Apple commercial.

Gotta give them that – it was clever and multilayered! But we’re definitely living in different times now.
