Everyone knows that engineers are the unsung heroes of civilization, and space engineers doubly so! So join us in saluting Space Engineers, the survival builder sandbox that finally left early access after five years to fully launch on Steam.

Space Engineers has sold over three million copies and boasts over 200,000 monthly active players. If you move quickly on this — as in, right now, today — you can grab this multiplayer title for 20% off.

And this is just the beginning of the rest of the news! Read on for a roundup of other smaller MMO news stories and videos from this past week in this edition of The MOP Up (and if you don’t see a news story that we should have covered, drop us a tip)!

Dofus is gearing up for a ton of class changes — and it wants feedback from the playerbase on how to approach this in the best fashion. Thanks Panagiotis!

Vindictus is outright giving Twitch streamers presents for showcasing that MMO.

Three cheers for Realm Royale, which features crossplay and cross-progression across PC, Xbox, and Switch!

Check out veteran MMO composer Inon Zur’s new single, “Into the Storm.” Thanks Greg!

Astroneer pumped out a patch to address stability issues. Go, go astronaut ingenuity!

Another week, another small War of Rights patch. It’s up to 142 of these, if you’re counting. “Made the time of day during midday slightly more yellow.” Vital stuff.

A Mount Zenit weekend is wrapping up today in Wakfu, so get in there before it’s gone!

Here’s a good reminder for Pokemon Go players: Just because the world is your playground doesn’t mean that you don’t have to follow the rules. Also, don’t hit cops. Thanks Pepperzine!

Lots of exploit closures, bug fixes, and even facial emotes based on VOIP conversations are part of Conan Exile’s upcoming patch.

As Sea of Thieves approaches its first anniversary, the dev team has a lot of small adjustments to talk about in this week’s video:

Space Engineers – along with a friend i played about 9 hours over the free weekend
Maybe it was the survival mode but neither one of us learned anything or built anything – or at least anything that we were able to power

Breathed a huge sigh of relief when i got back to Empyrion-Galactic Survival

Been ages since I played space engineers, I know the game used to run like garbage optimization-wise where even a moderate amount of movement or interaction (Or even just a large construction) would cause the game to slow down to a snail crawl even on state of the art PC hardware at the time. (gtx1080)

They ever optimize the hell out of it?

It’s a shame no one was ever capable of making World War Z as interesting as the book.

It really needs to be a TV series told in multiple countries with a different cast every episode .

This game looks like it was based on the film more than the book to me but maybe I am wrong .

Space Engineers may have made it, but Space Technicians probably made it work. :)

Also, the requirements on that Vindictus are basically streaming it every day.
