The MMO industry moves along at the speed of information, and sometimes we’re deluged with so much news here at Massively Overpowered that some of it gets backlogged. That’s why there’s The MOP Up: a weekly compilation of smaller MMO stories and videos that you won’t want to miss. Seen any good MMO news? Hit us up through our tips line!

This past week, Amazon Game Studios unloaded the latest build of Lumberyard for community approval. We’ve got that plus stories and videos from Hyper Universe, Final Fantasy XI, RIFT, and more, all waiting for you after the break!

  • Dark Eden: The Great Upheaval update added 12 new weapons, more dungeons, a top-level pet, and more.
  • Ultima Online: Players can now dig into Publish 95, which includes new veteran rewards, holiday rewards for December, and an additional challenge from the Huntmaster.

Events

  • Final Fantasy XI: A login campaign is set to run from November 11th through the 21st. “Characters who log in during the campaign period will receive a silver mog pell, which can be traded for a vide variety of special items.”
  • Riders of Icarus: There’s an attendance event running all month long, so log in and grab those rewards!

Action-RPG Project 100 is being created by Dragon Nest’s Jung Sic Park and should be coming to mobile devices next year.

The RIFT blog Dimension Gallery published the following video that shows off some of Starfall Prophecy’s new dimensions as well as some other various expansion highlights.

Do you need a hand with creating islands in Worlds Adrift? There’s no shame in that, my friend. The dev team posted an hour-long tour of island creation followed by a speedrun that you can watch here:

MMO Culture took a look at Aura Kingdom Mobile, finding it impressive how much of the desktop game was translated to mobile but judging it too automated to be engaging.

Nexon announced that Heroes of Incredible Tales has been downloaded 6.8 million times so far, which seems to be a good start to this action-RPG. Check out the new Archer class that just came to the game:
