New Games and Testing
- Prosperous Universe: This indie team has made headway on giving guilds their own chat channel and overhauling the website.
- Warface: This military shooter is heading to PlayStation 4 on September 18th, with early access starting right now!
- The Cycle: With the first alpha test done, the team has some stats to share!
- Hellion: This survival sandbox is working hard to get the game optimized.
Patches
- Dauntless: Open Beta 0.5.1 came out last week with balance tweaks for chain blades and Charrogg exotic crafting.
- MU Online: The game’s first Season 13 update is coming on August 21st with a Swamp of Darkness map, a level cap increase to 920, improvements to the skill enhance trees, and more mastery weapons and armors.
Events
- Pokemon Go: A special research feature is going live on August 20th that will give you the opportunity to track down the mythical pokémon Celebi.
- Final Fantasy XIV: The Sea Breeze screenshot celebration contest is running now through August 30th, so show them what you’ve got, MOP community!
Odds and Ends
- SMITE: Hi-Rez would like your feedback on matchmaking. Pretty please?
- Riot Games: In response to the scathing exposé on its practices, the studio has promised to tone down its rampaging sexism.
- Elder Scrolls Online: The team saluted voice actor Unshō Ishizuka who recently passed away.
