Pass the cranberry sauce, we’re having mashed potatoes! Oh the turkey looks great! Thank you for loving me, thank you for being there, thank you for loving me, everyone’s thankin’,
the whole world’s thankin’ you. Thankin’ us for thankin’ you! Kill, kill, kill, kill the turkey!

Hey, at least Bob’s Burgers is trying to create Thanksgiving music — and a select few MMORPGs are trying to fashion in-game events for this food-laden American holiday. That’s right, it’s time to escape from our families and recover from consuming 5,000 calories in one sitting by playing online games.

As per our tradition, one of the ways that we here at MOP thank you for being our readers is to give you a guide for MMO Thanksgiving events. Ready, set… consume!

Not paying attention is not a mark of honor.

Sea of Thieves’ Seabound Soul update added several Thanksgiving cosmetics for you to plunder.

You know you want to see what the fuss is about with Ramsgiving in Dauntless! “While Ramsgiving may be a tradition in Shattered Isles lore, 2019 is the first year we’re celebrating it as a Dauntless in-game event. That means new, special Ramsgiving items and our first-ever holiday quest!”

Grand Fantasia is celebrating Thanksgiving with a huge feast: “A gobble-tastic costume and a new title await the players who succeed in returning the missing ingredients of Sous Chef Reyna in time for the big celebration.”

Be thankful you can play Dark Age of Camelot for free now: “The Harvest Celebration and Farmer’s Market events are now live along with some changes and fixes before the weekend, including the reintroduction of RvR missions!”

“Celebrate the Season of the Dragon year-long adventure during the Dawn of the Dragonguard event and unlock bonus rewards including double drops, event tickets, and more,” said Elder Scrolls Online. Because dragons are basically powered-up turkeys.

If you’re all about testing betas, Elite Dangerous would like you to run its January update through the paces and see if you can break anything.

Runes of Magic is feasting upon its Autumn Banquet, where players can participate in quests, get a special title, and pluck the feathers of — you guessed it — ostriches. Wait, what?

“Let’s all go win some plates covered in food and then shove them into our filthy knapsacks so that we can turn them in for rewards! That’s the central gameplay loop of Blade and Soul’s Golden Harvest Festival,” said MOP’s Eliot.

ARK: Survival Evolved back doing questionable things to birds in its third Turkey Trial. From Tuesday, November 19th through Tuesday, December 3rd, harvest wishbones to gain new cosmetic items, event-themed undergarments, and all new emotes! Be prepared to hunt or be hunted by the relentless “Super-Turkeys!”

Dress up like historical Pilgrims in World of Warcraft, why not, and play pass-the-food in this year’s Pilgrim’s Bounty. Wowhead has a great guide to lead you through the event.

It’s not strictly Thanksgiving-themed, but Champions Online is reprising its Mystery of Nighthawk event during the holiday weekend. Why not earn some goodies?

Turkeytopia is back in Trove running through December 3rd. “This year’s festivities bring with them a new friend, the Cranberry Pilotl. This charming ally awaits you in Turkeytopia’s adventure chain, along with other tantalizing rewards! Be sure to log in every day for your daily rewards and so that you can feast upon the fun that awaits you!” Here’s a video guide for the event:
