Make My MMO: Dragon Eye Online has entered alpha

3

This week in MMO crowdfunding, Dragon Eye Online, an MMO that was Kickstarted last year, hit alpha. It’s a pixel MMO that touts its “completely player-driven economy, class-free progression and factions that play a vital role throughout,” a game where players will be leaving behind “auction house economies, cookie-cutter classes, and cosmetic factions.” Access to this leg of the test costs $79.99, though there are smaller packages with later entry points.

Meanwhile, Temtem gave fans a look at its roadmap through summer 2021 (with housing!), Valiance Online posted a new round of internal updates, OrbusVR teased its mini story pack with a new trailer, Saga of Lucimia previewed its alpha, and Shroud of the Avatar dropped release 75.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last week, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does every Saturday. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
