Cozy multiplayer title My Time at Evershine joins our crowdfunding list in this week’s edition of Make My MMO – triumphantly, even, as the third game in the “My Time At” franchise not only fully funded in less than an hour but has pulled in $1.2M from over 14,000 backers already as I type this with 25 days yet to go. Perhaps of specific note to MMO players is the team’s plan to integrate multiplayer from the very beginning.

Meanwhile, Star Citizen’s devs might be working on another game, The Day Before devs tried to return to Kickstarter, Dual Universe turned two years old, and Pantheon is changing up its monetization ahead of early access.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does several times a month. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
