We’re taking a time-machine back through our MMO coverage, month by month, to hit the highlights and frame our journey before we head into 2019!

World of Warcraft’s Battle for Azeroth blasted a path through the month of August, a path burned and charred by the felling of the world tree, the lore story behind which caused protests inside and outside the game.

Meanwhile, PWE announced Torchlight Frontiers, we got our hands on Monster Hunter’s PC version, the Riot Games sexism scandal blew wide open, Ashes of Creation teamed up with My.com, New World ramped up its teases, Black Desert remastered its graphics, and Neowiz announced Bless Unleashed.
