This week the Lineage II community nominated names for the new EU classic server, Marvel Heroes’ Kitty Pryde got a new look, an April Fools joke came to life, and studios started giving away presents for the holiday season!
New Games and Testing
- Age of Wushu Dynasty: The mobile MMO spin-off from Age of Wushu has a launch window for both Android and iOS: January 2016.
- HeroWarz: This Korean team battler is getting an English version that should be released early in 2016.
- Hyper Universe: Another Nexon-published title is gearing up for testing, with its CBT starting on December 15th. Check out its trailer below.
- Project Genom: The sci-fi shooter had a bumpy alpha test but is forging ahead with its next stage, which will be the addition of the open world in January 2016. [Source: press release]
- Arpiel Online: This anime MMO’s open beta test began this past week, adding two new servers to keep up with the demand.
Patches and Expansions
- Marvel Heroes: In this past week’s patch, Kitty Pryde got a new costume option inspired by her Age of Apocalypse look. The costume replaces her sword with Wolverine-style claws and different animations.
- Dark Age of Camelot: The team rolled out a small hotfix to address some issues in its new Ellan Vannin zone.
- Fiesta Online: Even as there is some uncertainty about the game’s future while the developers plan to rework most of it, Fiesta’s servers are back online with a new patch.
- MapleStory: The rarely playable Pink Bean is back until January 19th and a new rhythm-based minigame is sweeping the lands! [Source: press release]
- Dragomon Hunter: Feast on this succulent new update that includes a new dungeon, guild boss, and a 300v300 battleground. Go ahead and make 299 enemies today!
Events and Contests
- Lineage II: Players are in the midst of nominating and voting on a name for the upcoming European classic server. Can we get a write-in vote for MassivelyOP?
- Aion: The French website announced that this month players can participate in the Solorius Lottery by finding playing cards and assembling them into hands for prizes.
- Wakfu: Wakfu’s got an advent calendar going on, although this one is a bit different, as it deals in riddles and clues. What awaits the puzzle-solvers?
- Wizard101 and Pirate101: Speaking of calendars, head over to this site to get free surprises for 12 days in a row!
Odds and Ends
- Black Desert: The western version of the game has a new community manager, CM Jouska, who previously worked at NCsoft and SOE. She replaced CM Oli, who stepped down this past week.

Space Engineers is really geeked about the inclusion of planets as a core feature of the game, and the developers have a lot to say about the update:
Mabinogi Heroes, the Korean version of Vindictus, is preparing to add a new character to the game: Delia. She was previously an April Fools hoax, but apparently she was popular enough to add. Check out her teaser trailer!
