There’s some solid good content in ESO, but things like the combat and story damper my enthusiasm for that game. My initial reaction to the game while it was still pre-launch still kind of applies now: I often find myself just wanting to play a game like Skyrim with mods instead.

I thought the Magic Legends trailer, while pretty, looked generic. I hope the game proves me wrong and all.

I like how Corepunk looks etc, but… this has nothing to do with the gameplay, but the company is Dutch and HQ is in Netherlands but according to their own page the actual programming is done in Kiev in Ukraine. Which, of course, has much lower wages. Modern high tech sweatshop? That said, it seems to have an enormous staff for a modern game: “Artificial Core is a video game developer and publisher headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and with core development office is in Kyiv, Ukraine. Our team of over a hundred people, formed over the course of 5 years, is currently working on an MMORPG called Corepunk.” https://www.corepunk.com/en/news/article/9
