Sadly Age of Wushu is now completely neglected in the west. It was bound to fail because of it’s horrible monetization and a developer who doesn’t care about it’s customers. It was made way too grindy to drive cash-shop sales and the developer failed to adjust to the western market.

Things like the grind and cash shop weren’t much better in the EU but it had at least a support and GM’s who cared. After the merge into the US servers people are faced with Snails horrible support and US event times(crucial daily events happening in the middle of the night) and US ping(server in LA) while Snail advertises the new server as an “EU” server.

It’s sad to see a great game treated like this because Age of Wushu is a gem in many ways. If we just look at the gameplay, design and content it’s best PvP sandbox of the last decade but Snail was too busy nickeling and diming it’s customers and destroyed the game in the process. Now most progression mechanics are cash-shop driven or tied to a big amount of grind.
