Final Fantasy XIV’s Heavensward expansion launched in June to rave reviews, rising above the E3 scrum. The month heralded the announcement of Star Wars: The Old Republic’s KOTFE expansion, Guild Wars 2’s Heart of Thorns prepurchase fiasco, and the tail end of World of Warcraft’s Draenor flying controversy.
