It’s been a relatively quiet couple of weeks in the MMO crowdfunding scene, and we’re not entirely sorry to see it, given what a trainwreck the last report turned out to be. Still, Elite Dangerous busted out to disappoint everyone by first admitting it was canceling all console development in favor of PC, meaning Odyssey will never make it to consolers now stuck in maintenance mode, and second that it was temporarily halting transfers from console to PC for those players while it sorts out its new policy, meaning you’re extra stuck for now.

Meanwhile, Project Gorgon saw a new update, Zenith got an influx of cash, and we took a fresh tour through Book of Travels. Oh, and Shroud of the Avatar is still a mess. Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does several times a month. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
