Welcome to another blast of MMO crowdfunding news from the last few weeks!

Loftia isn’t due to finish out its Kickstarter until the end of August, but it’ll be smooth sailing for the indie “medium-ly multiplayer” solarpunk title as it’s already surpassed its $150,000 ask with plenty of cash to spare – in fact, it blew past $400K just yesterday. Thus far, backers have unlocked multiple stretch goals, including more pets, a fishing system, aquaponic farming, thrifting, and a player housing expansion, and the advanced cooking system, with three more on deck after those.

Meanwhile, Ilysia delayed its beta yet again, Temtem defended its spinoff to backers, Fractured got its testing back underway, Embers Adrift released The King’s Keep, and Chronicles of Elyria just won’t stop talking.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does several times a month. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
